POSITION: Outpatient Therapist
STATUS: Full Time; 37.5 hours / week
SCHEDULE/HOURS: Monday through Friday
LOCATION: Monroeville and Wilkinsburg
Milestone Centers, a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., is a nonprofit, community-based human services agency supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges and intellectual & developmental disabilities in communities throughout Western Pennsylvania. Milestone Centers has earned certification from the Sanctuary Institute for providing trauma-informed care.
Responsibilities:
The Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing evidence-based, comprehensive mental health treatment to clients in an outpatient setting; providing assessment, determining clinical need, developing person-centered and strengths-based approaches to assist client in the development and attainment of treatment goals. The Outpatient Therapist will facilitate individual and group psychotherapy sessions and provide psychoeducation and skill transfer to increase the client’s sense of personal empowerment and overall well-being.

Meets or exceeds established productivity standards for scheduling and providing direct service (100% scheduling, 60% productivity).
Conduct behavioral assessments to determine a baseline of client’s therapeutic needs and formulate treatment goals and objectives within allotted treatment times.
Administer and score the assessment tools, behavioral checklists, and protocols as needed
Develop and implement treatment plans using SMART goals as a strengths-based approach in addressing defined problems
Review, collect, and assess data to inform treatment plans. Review successful interventions and address barriers to treatment.
Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
Monitor and document client progress through collaboration with client and writing progress notes.
Provide psychoeducation on mental health, psychological disorders, and behavioral health.
Exhibit proficiency in analyzing and identifying key concerns, then collaborating with the client and treatment team to develop realistic and attainable therapeutic goals.
Collaborate with clients to formulate crisis plans and review and update with client as deemed necessary.
Utilize collaborative documentation with clients during the visit (face to face encounters or via telehealth) for completion of progress notes and other required paperwork.
Present clinical information to the program director and/or prescriber accurately and in a timely manner. Present well-organized synopsis of client’s status (e.g., progress toward treatment goals, treatment compliance, etc.).
Participate in case conferences, psychiatric consultations, and with interagency providers.
Participate in regular clinical supervision, treatment team meetings and use good judgment in securing further therapeutic consultation with assigned supervisor.
Assist the client with determining their discharge and aftercare plan and provide a discharge summary at the closure of every case.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in social work, Psychology or Counseling and a minimum of 1-year Post Master’s experience.
License preferred
Act 33, 34 and FBI Clearances
Valid PA Driver’s License
Knowledge of various schools of Psychotherapy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Compensation: USD $47,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $53,000.00/Yr.
