Okay, so I’ve already shared how much I dreaded the idea of this September work trip. But if I’m being fair, there are also things I am looking forward to. Sometimes you have to dig for the silver linings—and I found a few.
1. Dusting off my work outfits. Since I work remotely, my professional wardrobe hasn’t seen daylight in a long while. Low-key excited to play dress up again.
2. Wearing my kitten heels. I snagged the cutest pair from Zara that I’ve been saving for “the right time.” This is it.
3. Fall weather. Blessed relief. No summer heat, no humidity—just crisp air and layers.
4. Meeting the team. Honestly, I still think dragging everyone to one place is overkill, but I’m banking on this being one of those “every five years” type events. Fingers crossed.
