As a Screener with Allied Universal at a premier retail location, you will play a key role in helping to create a secure and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances, conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, and remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests and employees, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Screen individuals entering the premises to help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site policies.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
