J & J Staffing Resources, one the largest independently owned temporary and direct hire staffing services, has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiting Assistant to join our Newark, DE office!

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Provide administrative and recruiting support to the staffing branch that contributes to continual office growth and success.
• Work directly with Staffing Specialists identifying candidates for jobs, scheduling interviews, and relaying dispatch information.
• Utilize various systems and resources to recruit talent and screen candidates.
• Utilize and manage applicant tracking system, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
• Manage online job postings over various platforms including J & J website, Indeed, and LinkedIn.
• Draft, send, and track staffing agreements.
• Responsible for participating in special projects, marketing campaigns, etc. to assist the office with bringing in new business and increasing candidate pools.
• Act as back-up to other staff members when they are out of office.

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, organized and detail oriented with solid written and communication skills.
• Must have excellent time management skills in order to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
• Must be professional, outgoing, flexible and possess excellent customer service and follow up skills.
• Must be able to build relationships with our customers, partner with team members and cross functional team members in our branch offices; and provide exceptional customer service
• Must be able to assist with special projects as deemed necessary by management.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and Data Entry

Extras:

J & J has been in business for over 50 years and provides a good work-life balance for its employees. This position is Direct Hire; full time, (Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM). We offer hybrid, work-from-home Fridays (laptop provided)!

This position has a competitive base salary (paid weekly) that also includes monthly commission, paid time off, holiday and vacation pay, a full benefit package and profit sharing!
