POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsible for and committed to creating an unparalled guest and member experience within a luxury hospitality environment. Oversees the activities of key guest and member contact departments including resort room division operations and food and beverage division operations. Maximizes profitability as well as guest, member, and associate satisfaction. Implements and oversees the daily quality processes at the resort. Serves as top operator in the absence of the Vice President and Managing Director. Consults with owners and corporate offices, as required.

Example of Duties:

  • Leads and manages the overall resort operations.
  • Partners with the Director of Food & Beverage and Director of Rooms to review and approve resort operations and food and beverage department budgets, defining and directing changes, as required.

  • Reviews forecasts and all guest surveys. Directs resort actions required maximizing profitability, increasing service levels, and improving associate satisfaction.

• Ensures resort implementation and compliance with the daily quality process of Trump Hotel policies and procedures as well as Brand & Forbes Standards.

• Leads planning committee/department heads to ensure overall profit, service, and association satisfaction goals are met or exceeded.

• Speaks with and responds to guests regarding service challenges.

• Consults with resort owners as appropriate.

• Hires, supervises, coaches, disciplines and conducts performance evaluations for department heads and key personnel.

• Develops the skills and abilities of direct reports.

• Monitors high potential department heads and associate activity and ensures their growth within the company.

  • Conducts daily/weekly walk through of the resort as needed.
  • Ensures compliance for all City & County related annual inspections.

Supportive Functions:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

  • Attends industry meetings and participates in industry organizations.

• Participates in and maintains active community relations.

  • Participates in corporate activities and meetings, as requested.
  • Assimilates into The Trump Hotel Collection culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of the Trump Cornerstones.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the service standards.
  • Regular attendance in compliance with the standards, which may be established by Trump Hotel Collection from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required when performing work duties that may have the potential of risk to your health or safety. The resort will provide the required PPE. Associates will be trained in the proper use and care of any assigned PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

Qualification Standards:

Education

Four-year college degree preferred.

Experience

  • Requires substantial and successful knowledge of quality processes and resort operations.
  • Leadership experience; preferably 3-5 years or more.
  • General management experience in a luxury hotel/resort is preferred.


Licenses and Certificates:

None required.

Grooming Standards:

All associates must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you as a part of the orientation process.

Other:

Bi-lingual language ability (English/Spanish) preferred.
